WeBank’s Loan Amount Exceeds RMB100bn

A WeBank employee wrote a post in WeChat Moment, announcing that the loan amount of Weilidai (WeBank's micro loan product) is over RMB100 billion ($14.92 billion); Weilidai's loan amount has increased almost 300% over the past seven months; according to its financial results, WeBank lost RMB583 million ($86.97 million) in the first year (2015); but in 2016, it made a profit of RMB401 million ($59.82 million); in the first four months of 2017, WeBank made a profit of RMB500 million ($74.59 million); in terms of product, WeBank has launched an enterprise-grade product, "Weiyedai"; Weiyedai provides unsecured loans of up to RMB3 million ($447,507) to enterprises, with annual percentage rates ranging from 10.95% to 16.43%. Wins Finance Holdings Reports Gain of +3,000%

Bloomberg reports on Wins Finance Holdings (WINS) which currently has an inception to date return of 3,305% and is trading at $230; the Chinese company has a small business loan and equipment leasing business; the stock is in the Nasdaq Composite and reports the index's highest 12-month return; while the Chinese stock appears to be a little known discovery, its business financials are rather abstract; Bloomberg provides details on the company including information from its public reports which began with its 2015 Nasdaq listing.  Source

World’s Leading Bitcoin Miner Bitmain Preparing for a Possible IPO

Bloomberg and Quartz have recently been granted access to one of the largest bitcoin mines in the world operated by Bitmain; this Bitmain mine generates about a quarter of a million dollars a day worth of bitcoin; Bitmain's valuation is in the billions and the company is preparing for a possible IPO; Bitmain is also investing in an expansion to US. Xero Emerging as a Leading Platform for Working Capital Accounting Solutions

Yirendai Announces Performance Bond Agreement with PICC P&C

The new agreement with PICC P&C would provide Yirendai with a performance bond for certain loans originated through their marketplace; PICC P&C agreed to reimburse investors should any losses occur because of due diligence issues; Yihan Fang, CEO of Yirendai, said, "We are pleased to begin working with PICC P&C on performance bond. Yirendai Reports Earnings Results for the Fourth Quarter and Full Year of 2016

Yirendai, an affiliate of CreditEase, is the only Chinese online lender publicly traded on a US exchange; its stock price closed at $29.29 prior to the company's earnings announcement after the closing bell on March 15; year-to-date the stock is up 41.36%; the earnings results showed revenue of $154.3 million for the fourth quarter, beating estimates by $19.38 million and increasing 137% from the comparable quarter; revenue for the year was $466.4 million an increase from $190.1 million in 2015; earnings per share for the fourth quarter were $0.91, beating estimates by $0.58 and increasing 287% from the comparable quarter; earnings per share for the year were $2.72 an increase from $0.79.  Source
