LendIt USA 2015 New York City

The third annual LendIt USA conference will be held April 13-15, 2015 in New York City. As many of you know I am a co-founder of LendIt and I spend a good deal of my time these days working on this conference series. LendIt has become the biggest and I would like to think the best gathering place for anyone interested in the online lending industry.

The first LendIt USA conference in June 2013 had over 350 people in a conference center in New York City and was completely sold out. LendIt USA 2014 in San Francisco earlier this year had almost 1,000 people. We are expecting many more than that for our 2015 event as the industry continues to grow.

Early Bird Pricing Available Until January 9, 2015

We officially opened LendIt USA 2015 for registration earlier this week. The early bird price is $795 but as with every LendIt conference Lend Academy readers get a discount. Just enter the promotion code LENDACADEMYVIP at checkout and you will receive a 15% discount.

The early bird pricing will be in place until January 9th. After that the price will go to $1,295. The price will continue to go up as we get closer to the event. So, if you are planning to attend the earlier you sign up the better for you.

We are working on the program right now and will have a preliminary agenda available early in the new year. We will be including some of the popular topics from previous years as well as a few surprises. If you have an idea for a topic or would like to be considered as a speaker please go to our speaker sign-up page.

New in 2015: Pre-Conference Workshops

On Monday April 13, before the conference officially kicks off, we will be having half day workshops from 1pm – 5:30pm. There will be four different workshop tracks: introduction to P2P, underwriting, technology and discovering the next big thing. These optional workshops will be hands-on and collaborative and will allow for intensive learning in a more intimate setting. The cost for the workshop sessions is $200 and that will allow you in to any of the tracks.

Four Tracks in the Main Conference

We will have more content than ever before at LendIt USA 2015. As always we will have a primary track with keynotes and panels. But new in 2015 will be a secondary track with panels as well as solo presentations. And on the first day this secondary track will be completely dedicated to real estate – one of the fastest growing sectors in online lending.

We will also have a company demo track that will feature short presentations from many of the platforms and service providers in the space. Finally, right next to the main ballroom we will have our speaker Q&A track. After each panel the speakers will move this room so anyone interested can continue the conversation in a more intimate setting.

Like before we intend to broadcast the sessions from our primary track at the LendIt Conference live online for free. We will also be recording these sessions as well as the company demos and will make them available for viewing after the conference.

We are kicking off the event with a cocktail party on Monday night, April 13 from 6pm to 8pm. The Marriott Marquis has an excellent venue overlooking Times Square that can hold around 500 people. This event has an additional cost of $125.

To find out more details go to our LendIt USA 2015 site. Hope to see you in New York City in April.
