My New Book on Lending Club Now Available

Peter Renton·
Peer to Peer Lending

How the world's largest peer to peer lender is transforming finance and how you can benefitAs many of you know I have been working on a book about Lending Club the last few months. Today, I am pleased to announce that The Lending Club Story has just been released on Amazon.

Currently the book is available on Amazon in the Kindle format; it will be released in other formats (Barnes and Noble Nook, Apple iBook and downloadable PDF) in the near future. I may also make a physical book option available at some point.

This book covers Lending Club past, present and future. It is around 80-90 pages long (or it would be if it was a physical book) and it is completely up to date including the big news from just a couple of days ago. Here is a breakdown of the chapters:

1. Introduction
2. History of Lending Club
3. Lending Club Investors
4. Lending Club Borrowers
5. The Future

There is a also a short foreword by Lending Club CEO Renaud Laplanche.

So why did I write a book on Lending Club and not Prosper, or the entire industry for that matter? The short answer is that Lending Club is the clear market leader and I wanted to provide an easy to read reference book for people who are looking to learn more. This is my first book and I will cover Prosper in a book next year. I am also planning a detailed book about the industry just for investors.

You Will Learn Something New

I spent a great deal of time researching this book and spoke with many people inside Lending Club including conversations with Renaud Laplanche as well as one of their board members who has been involved since the very beginning. So, I am confident if you buy the book you will learn plenty of new information.

But if you are looking for the latest investment strategies for Lending Club investors you will be disappointed. There are no strategies covered in this book, that will be a topic for a future book. This book serves as a reference for people wanting to know about Lending Club, the company and their platform.

Available for $4.99 Now or Wait and Get if for Free

You can buy the ebook on Amazon right now for $4.99. Or if you wait a couple of weeks I am going to do a free promotion where you will be able to pick it up at no charge. But if you want it today or you are happy to pay the $4.99 then please go ahead and buy it now.

Then let everyone know what you think. Since the book has just been launched there are no reviews yet. So, once you have read the book I would appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on Amazon and give the book a rating there. And thank you.
