LendIt-USA-2017-New-York

We are just five weeks away from the annual LendIt USA show. The LendIt team, including myself, have been working diligently for months to bring you the biggest and best show we have ever done.

We have just released our preliminary agenda and I think it is coming together nicely. Every year we try to keep the event fresh and interesting, reflecting not just where Fintech is at today but where it is headed. This year we are featuring some completely new tracks that capture this: digital banking, blockchain, policy and regulation, financial inclusion, insurtech, digital wealth management and artificial intelligence. There will also be the always popular tracks of credit & underwriting, consumer lending, small business lending, real estate, investor insights and structured products.

Fintech’s Leading Speaker Lineup

The LendIt team has also worked hard on bringing together some of the most interesting speakers, many of which will be new to LendIt this year. Here are some examples:

  • Ash Gupta – President of American Express
  • John Sculley – Vice Chairman of Lantern Credit (former CEO of Apple)
  • Harit Talwar – CEO of Marcus (a division of Goldman Sachs)
  • Antony Jenkins – CEO of 10X Future Technologies (former CEO of Barclays)
  • Congressman Patrick McHenry (R-NC) – United States Congress
  • Thomas Curry – Comptroller of the Currency (Head of the OCC)

Of course, we will also bring you the all the leaders in online lending including Scott Sanborn – CEO of Lending Club, Noah Breslow – CEO of OnDeck, Ron Suber – President of Prosper, Anthony Hsieh – CEO of loanDepot, Nigel Morris – Managing Partner of QED Investors, Matt Burton – CEO of Orchard and many more.

We are also still working on trying to secure some more big names so I am confident the list of notable speakers will keep growing.

Much More Than a Conference

While you will always be able to learn from industry leaders at LendIt we are becoming much more than a conference. Our expo floor will feature over 100,000 square feet of exhibit space with more than 200 companies showcasing their wares this year. We will also be featuring our popular company demo stage – this time in the thick of the action in our expo hall.

LendIt USA 2017 will conclude with the first annual LendIt Industry Awards Dinner. This is a special event where we recognize the people who have had the most impact on our industry in the past year. We have a fantastic list of finalists and tickets are still available for this dinner although they are selling fast.

Don’t Forget the Exclusive Lend Academy Discount

If you have not bought your ticket yet now is the time to do it to avoid the price rise in a few days. And as with every LendIt event Lend Academy readers get a special discount. Just enter the code LENDACADEMYVIP at checkout for 15% off the ticket price.

I hope to see many of you in New York in March.
