Jet Capital is a Dallas-based online lender primarily lending to underserved small businesses; it was launched in 2015 and currently focuses on businesses with 20 or fewer employees; the firm has identified Albuquerque as a growing target market with over 28,000 businesses in its target range; the firm's cash advances average approximately $25,000 and with the payouts, the company also purchases rights to future sales. OneMain has rejected an unsolicited exchange offer from IEG Holdings; on January 6, 2017, IEG submitted an offer to buy shares of OneMain, a consumer finance company offering personal loans; IEG is an online consumer loan provider with stock trading on an over the counter market exchange; OneMain says the offer does not reflect the value of the company or the best interests of its shareholders. Fifteen employees of Jinxing Investment are on trial in Shanghai for fraudulent lending of 1.5 billion yuan (US$220 million); the employees are charged with illegally raising funds and taking investments from the public that were not used for their intended use; Ji Jianhua, the company's chief financial officer, told the court that the investments were fake and that funds were directed to personal or related accounts of president Wang Mian; the company shut down in June 2016 and Wang Mian escaped and has not been found.
