New Concern in Lithuania Over Revolut’s Banking License

Politicians in Lithuania are expressing concern about the expertise at their country’s central bank after Revolut secured their banking license last year; an influx of fintech companies has stretched resources thin at the central bank; Revolut has already gone through two investigations and there are now calls for a third; the digital bank is among dozens of western companies that have flocked to Lithuania, which is now Europe’s second-largest fintech center in terms of the number of regulated companies.
