The securitization includes £285 million of UK prime buy-to-let mortgage loans and was oversubscribed; Citi arranged the securitization who was also the lead manager along with National Australia Bank and JP Morgan; the latest securitization follows their £259 million securitization in June 2019; the latest securitization received a AAA rating for 83% of the securitization from Moody’s and Fitch; LendInvest has been working towards decreasing their cost of capital and moving into the mainstream mortgage market; the securitization also allow LendInvest to fund future buy to let loans as they continue to go head to head with traditional banks.
