Global Covid-19 Fintech Survey Launches

The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, the World Bank and the World Economic Forum launched a new survey today to analyze the impact of Covid-19 on fintech; this will be the most ambitious survey in the history of fintech as they look to reach more than 15,000 fintech companies in 190 countries; fintech plays a vital role in providing and enabling financial services to consumers and small businesses and governments are beginning to recognize this; the goal of this survey it to take the pulse of fintech and to see what policy responses might be needed to support fintech in helping to stimulate the economy in these uncertain times.
