People who applied for the Apple Card and have been declined will be able to enroll in a new program called Path to Apple Card; it is a financial wellness program that uses the information that Goldman Sachs used in underwriting to help them improve specific financial metrics that will make them more likely to be approved next time; it is an opt-in program that will include a once-a-month progress update on specific tasks personalized to each user; the updates will include specific steps to take that will improve a user’s financial health; once a customer has completed the program they will be invited to reapply for the Apple Card.
