Australian Challenger Bank Raises Series C, Plans IPO for 2020

Volt, a challenger bank in Australia has raised $70 million in a Series C round; they have now raised $100 million and are planning for an IPO later this year if market conditions remain favorable; Volt is now looking to raise a $50 million Series D round in part due to regulatory capital demands; Volt most recently launched their first deposit product and is looking to have a full suite of loan options by the end of 2020; they are also looking into entering the small business space in 2021.
