Alec Litowitz

Alec Litowitz is an investor, entrepreneur, and author who has spent more than three decades navigating uncertainty across finance and institution-building. He is author of The Adaptability Quotient (Disruption Books, September 15). He is the Founder and Managing Partner of Qstar Capital and the Founder of Magnetar Capital. His work centers on disciplined process, adaptive learning, and building organizations for rapidly evolving environments. An endurance athlete, Alec also serves as Board Chair Emeritus of Dare2tri. He is also an active supporter of the arts, Litowitz also serves on the board of the Art Institute of Chicago. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four boys.
