Citi Ventures Invests in Fintechs But Also Has an Internal Group Focused on Helping the Bank Stay Relevant

Citi Ventures has invested in well known fintech companies like Plaid, Square and Betterment but they are also focused on building their own products; the unit is called D10X and is internally known as their form of shark tank where employees can pitch to senior leadership; they reportedly have more than 100 internal startups; Bank Innovation shares just how D10X operates within the organization and their current initiatives.
