Among VCs featured in Institutional Investor’s list of the 40 top Fintech Finance Power Players was Maria Gotsch, the president and CEO of the non-profit Partnership Fund for New York City; Accenture, along with the Fund were the first in NYC to create a lab to help fintech firms and financial institutions work together; since then, graduates of the program have raised $800 million and created 1000 jobs; five companies have been acquired and of the remainder, 90% are still in business; Accenture also has programs in London, Hong Kong and Dublin.
