The CEO of NITI Aayog, a policy think tank of the Indian government, said that the fintech market in India is likely to expand to $31 billion in 2020; he also noted that the Indian fintech ecosystem is the third largest in the world with $6 billion in investment in the last three to four years; India is one of the fastest growing fintech markets globally and is the only country in the world with over one billion mobile connections and biometrics; this will help fuel the growth of fintech in the country.
