The founder and CEO of Finitive, Jon Barlow, talks about the challenges non-bank lenders have in raising capital and how to make this process more efficient; Barlow is a veteran of non-bank lending having founded one of the first funds dedicated to the space, Eaglewood Capital; it became clear to him that the process of raising capital for lenders and deploying capital for institutional investors was inherently inefficient and no one had really tackled this problem, so Finitive was born; while they are seeing some impact from the crisis they are still closing deals and seeing new interest from both investors and lenders.
