Sky News is reporting that UK fintech pioneer, LendInvest, is exploring an IPO on the London Stock Exchange some time later this year; they have reportedly hired Lazard, the investment bank, to advise on their options; the potential flotation could value the company at £500 million; LendInvest is a leader in online lending for real estate in the UK, having originated around £2 billion in loans since inception; they would be the second major fintech lender in the UK to go public after Funding Circle did so late last year.
