Litigation Funding Platform AxiaFunder to Raise Capital on Seedrs

AxiaFunder is the first UK for-profit litigation funding platform; they are now launching a Seedrs capital raise which is open until early April; the platform currently has over 380 high net worth and sophisticated retail investors along with institutions; AxiaFunder invests in legal cases which have a 70% expected probability of winning; so far they have funded five cases out of a pool of 140; according to the press release: “Conservatively estimated net annual investor returns of 20%-30%+ which are uncorrelated to the wider market/economy”; the company was founded in 2019 by CEO Cormac Leech who is a former top ranked equity research analyst and founder of Liberum Alternative Finance.
