At the CB Insights conference last week Max Levchin, the CEO and Co-founder of Affirm, talked about the status of his groundbreaking partnership with Walmart; the deal means that Walmart shoppers can now get point of sale financing in store with Affirm; Walmart like this partnership because it gives their customers a new option for financing high ticket items; Levchin told Tearsheet that the deal is now live pretty much everywhere and “it’s rapidly increasing in volume and after a gradual rollout, we’re scaling up.” Source.
