As many of you know I have been working on a book about Lending Club the last few months. Today, I am pleased to announce that The Lending Club Story has just been released on Amazon.

So why did I write a book on Lending Club and not Prosper, or the entire industry for that matter? The short answer is that Lending Club is the clear market leader and I wanted to provide an easy to read reference book for people who are looking to learn more. This is my first book and I will cover Prosper in a book next year. I am also planning a detailed book about the industry just for investors.

I spent a great deal of time researching this book and spoke with many people inside Lending Club including conversations with Renaud Laplanche as well as one of their board members who has been involved since the very beginning. But if you are looking for the latest investment strategies for Lending Club investors you will be disappointed. There are no strategies covered in this book, that will be a topic for a future book. This book serves as a reference for people wanting to know about Lending Club, the company and their platform.
