UK base challenger bank OakNorth launched a new mortgage product aimed at individuals who do not have typical sources of income; the mortgage will have a variable rate and they will target asset rich/income poor individuals for a price range starting at £500,000; OakNorth has built their firm on underwriting small businesses run by the same type of Individuals who they are targeting with this new product; the bank believes they can grow this product to over £260 million this year.
