Credit card startup Brex is starting to expand their product set beyond the core credit card offering and recently announced cash account; the company’s new COO told Bank Innovation that the company would begin adding services for insurance, lending, and treasury products; new products will help the company to diversify revenue sources; the move is part of a wider trend in the industry as banking is starting to become rebundled by fintechs after their initial business model was to unbundle the banking stack.
