Can Raisin be Successful in the US?

Raisin has been able to attract billions of deposits to European banks and will eventually be launching their deposits-as-a-service offering in the US; the company offers a marketplace, featuring high-yielding savings accounts along with CDs; they have worked with 75 banks in Europe since 2013; the US market is estimated to be two times larger than consumer deposits in Europe but the company still faces some challenges, namely consumer awareness; Raisin is currently working through the regulatory hurdles and will likely work with a sponsor bank to offer their marketplace in the US.
