Nova Credit Raises $50 Million with Set of Interesting Backers

Nova Credit has raised a $50 million Series B round; the company helps immigrants get access to credit in the United States; the round was led by Kleiner Perkins and also included Canapi Ventures, Index Ventures, General Catalyst, Nyca Partners and Sound Ventures; Sound Ventures was founded by Ashton Kutcher and Guy Oseary; the press release noted there was also support from Alex Rodriguez, Hugh Jackman and U2 guitarist the Edge; Nova Credit won PitchIt @ LendIt Fintech USA in 2017 and announced a partnership with American Express last October.
