SoFi is now offering brokerage services to the public a spokeswoman there has confirmed; there is an active investing option on the SoFi Invest page for trading individual stocks and ETFs, and there are no transaction fees; SoFi is looking to compete with the likes of Robinhood for free stock trades; they already offer an automated investing service through the SoFi Wealth product.
