What Plaid Direct Means for Fintech

Last week Plaid announced the launch of Plaid Direct, their new tool that allows both banks and fintech platforms to integrate more easily with Plaid; this is a real step forward for open banking in the U.S. as it provides easier and more seamless access to data which in turn means a better and more secure user experience for consumers; old and inefficient data aggregation methods like screen scraping can become a thing of the past.
