LendIt USA was the first and is the largest conference in the online lending space. Next year marks the fifth edition of this event and we are very excited to be hosting it at the Javits Center in New York on March 6-7. Last night we opened our 2017 event for registration.
As many of you know I am one of the co-founders of LendIt and I spend most of my time these days working on this business. We have three events a year: in the USA, Europe and China with the US event being by far the largest. At LendIt USA 2016 in San Francisco in April we had more than 3,600 attendees and next year we are expecting 5,000 people. Below is a video with some highlights from our San Francisco event.

Hear From the Industry Leaders
As always with LendIt you will hear from the CEOs of every major company in our industry. We already have confirmed the following leaders to give keynote presentations at LendIt USA 2017: Scott Sanborn of Lending Club, Ron Suber of Prosper, Noah Breslow of OnDeck, Al Goldstein of Avant, Rob Frohwein of Kabbage, Matt Burton of Orchard, Sam Hodges of Funding Circle, just to name a few.
There will be eight tracks of content covering capital markets, consumer lending, real estate, small business lending, banking, international, financial inclusion as well as staff training for sales and marketing, underwriting, technology and regulation. In short it will be the most comprehensive lending conference ever put together.
New for 2017: The LendIt Industry Awards
The part I am most excited about for next year is the addition of an industry awards dinner. Our industry has never come together to celebrate those people who have achieved success and we think the time has come.
The LendIt Industry Awards is an event for the industry. It will be held in the evening of day two of LendIt and we expect it to be a perfect finale. We will be choosing a group of 20-30 judges who will be in charge of selecting finalists and winners for each category.
