SoFi Assisted in PPP Program Through Comparison Site ‘Lantern’

SoFi shared in a press release that they had helped funnel over $75 million in loan applications to lenders for the Paycheck Protection Program through Lantern, a site that SoFi operates; Lantern is a product comparison site similar to others in the market today and was launched just 4 days after the CARES Act was passed; 42% of small business applications were matched with companies in the network and 24% of those got approved by the SBA for PPP loans; Lantern not only helps small businesses but also allows users to compare personal loans.
