Stripe Raises $600 Million at $36 Billion Valuation

Stripe, the payments platform has raised $600 million which is an extension of their Series G round that closed last fall; the company is used by many big names and startups alike including Instacart, DoorDash, Postmates, Caviar as well as Zoom; these customers according to co-founder John Collison joined March 1st and have already generated $1 billion in revenue; Collison noted to Axios, “This is digital migration in a very compressed period of time, for both businesses and customers…My mom recently asked me if I’d heard of ‘this Instacart thing.’ Yeah mom, I have.” Axios
