New Platform Launches in Latvia for P2P Loans

Alfa Finance Group has launched a new P2P lender in Latvia called DoFinance; the platform is available in all EU and EEA countries and will focus on consumer loans; it has over 150,000 registered clients and has originated over EUR16 million ($17 million) in loans. Source

Russian Digital Finance Company ID Finance Partners with Mintos

ID Finance has partnered with Latvian marketplace lender Mintos to list its MoneyMan loans on the platform's marketplace; current loans will be issued to Spain ranging from EUR 300 ($326) to EUR 1,200 ($1,304) with a repayment period of 30 days to 4 months; ID Finance is the first network originator to offer Spanish listed loans on the Mintos platform providing for enhanced cross-border diversification.  Source

4finance Announces $325mn Bond Financing

Online consumer lender 4finance has raised $325 million from an issuance of bonds; the bonds are senior unsecured, five-year fixed rate notes issued with a 10.75% yield at par; the firm will use the proceeds for debt restructuring, business development and corporate management. Source

4finance Reports 2016 Net Profit of 63.2mn Euros

Online lender 4finance has reported its earnings for 2016 with an increase in revenue and net income; revenue increased 24% in 2016 to 393.2 million euros ($413.35 million); it reported another year of net profit with net income increasing to 63.2 million euros ($66.4 million), up from 58.2 million euros ($61.2 million) in 2015; in 2016 the company's net loan portfolio was 493.9 million euros ($519.21 million) and the average interest rate on its loans was 120%.  Source

Mintos Offering Loans in Multiple Currencies

Latvian marketplace lender Mintos has announced it will be expanding its loan offerings to include loans denominated in Czech koruna to avoid currency risk for investors; firm is the third European lender following Creamfinance and Acema to expand to the koruna; says it also has plans for additional currency offerings.  Source
