Tink raised €56 million in new funding in February and today it announced a further investment of €1o million from PayPal; Tink is a Swedish fintech leveraging open banking technology to allow easier data access to financial data; PayPal will use Tink’s technology to allow customers to connect their bank accounts to their PayPal accounts; Tink is looking to take advantage of PSD2, a new European rule that allows consumers to authorize third parties to access their financial data.
