Future Nexus Op-Ed Submission Guidelines & Contributor Agreement

Future Nexus Op-Ed Submission Guidelines & Contributor Agreement

Future Nexus Op-Ed Submission Guidelines

Future Nexus welcomes op-eds from industry leaders, founders, investors, and experts who can provide unique insights into fintech, AI, and other forms of innovation.

We look for sharp analysis, thought-provoking commentary, and well-supported arguments—not marketing pieces or generic trend summaries.

Please read the submission guidelines carefully, then submit via the form below. We will not accept op-eds that did not follow submission guidelines.

Submit a byline

What We Look For

  • Compelling arguments backed by real-world experience, data, and original insights.
  • Tech-forward perspectives that analyze trends, emerging technologies, market shifts, or regulatory challenges.
  • Clear, engaging writing that avoids jargon and connects with an informed but broad audience.
  • Opinion-driven analysis rather than news reporting. We’re looking for thoughtful takes, not press releases.
  • Expert-driven insights that include firsthand experiences (i.e., anecdotes), data-backed arguments, and unique industry knowledge.
  • Polished yet fun writing that leans into a voicier, more human tone, rather than GPT-esque phrasing.

Avoid sales pitches, unsubstantiated claims, and overdone topics.

Pitching vs. Full Drafts

  • You can submit a completed draft or a pitch for consideration via the form.
  • If pitching, include:
    • A detailed outline of your idea.
    • If available, a link to a prior writing sample, so we can assess your writing style.

Submission Requirements

  • Length: Most op-eds fall between 800–1,200 words, though we’re open to shorter or longer pieces when the topic warrants it.
  • Format: For full drafts, submit as a Google Docs link with edit permissions enabled. We will not review your submission if we cannot access the document.
    • If your organization forbids the use of Google Docs, there will be an opportunity to paste the full draft into the form.
  • Attribution: If you include statistics, surveys, or other factual claims, cite your sources with links.
  • Bio: Include a 2–3 sentence bio at the end of your piece, along with relevant links (e.g., LinkedIn, website).
  • Confirmation that you’ve reviewed and agreed to the Future Nexus Op-Ed Contributor Agreement below.

Review Process

  • We aim to review submissions within 14 days.
  • Due to volume, we cannot guarantee feedback on all submissions.
  • If you haven’t heard from us within two weeks, you’re welcome to follow up once. If we still haven’t responded, you are free to submit your piece elsewhere.
