The Celo Foundation has announced they have signed up 50 founding members for the Alliance for Prosperity; the new crypto alliance aims to help further their mission of financial inclusion and push more greater adoption of use cases; members of the alliance include Andreessen Horowitz, Coinbase, and Bison Trails; some of the members are also in the Libra project which could bring up conflicts of interest and allow these companies to hedge their bets in case one of the projects fails; the members are not yet making a financial commitment and they are also not being pegged to fiat currencies which could make the projects more volatile; both projects have long term issues but the work shows how much collaboration is happening to create useful tools for people who find themselves on the outside looking in because of the financial systems high cost barriers.
