TD Ameritrade’s investment in their Halo Desktop a few years ago allowed the company to get ahead of the curve when the crisis hit; the company has seen some hiccups along the way as Chief Information Officer Vijay Sankaran tells Business Insider, “We’re learning a lot around tuning the environment, I cannot give enough credit to our network team.”; the company has also been shifting more of their infrastructure to digital and using AI across different areas of the business; the moves have help to set up TD Ameritrade to better weather the current storm and provide it at scale; “We’ve gotten so much more engagement now,” Sankaran said. “Our educational usage, engagement in webinars has just gone up significantly over the last month because people have a ton of time on their hands.” Business Insider
