LendIt Fintech Nexus Miami is Being Postponed

The surge of the Delta variant is causing companies across the country to reevaluate their plans. With Florida becoming a covid hotspot this applies to everyone hosting events there in the near future.

Our number one priority has always been the safety of our community and we were determined to only host an in-person event if we were confident we could do so safely. Back in April when we first conceived of LendIt Fintech Nexus that seemed highly likely but circumstances have changed in recent days and weeks.

While we have a core group of attendees who still very much wanted to come, after long discussions and consultation with local authorities, we decided the best course of action would be to postpone the event. We really hate to do this because I know many of you were relying on this event to get back to in-person meetings. But we feel like it is the only responsible course of action.

We have started discussions to move the event to early next year but we can’t provide confirmed dates just yet. We wanted to get this message out to everyone right away so you can change your plans.

Like everyone, we hope that the pandemic is consigned to history very soon. And we look forward to returning to in-person events in the near future.
