Marcus by Goldman Sachs just reached a big milestone from their UK based team, in 8 months they have amassed 250,000 customers and more than £8bn in deposits; UK Managing Director Des McDaid says they success is due to a simple, straight-forward offering, delivered well; since launching in 2016 the company has seen more than $35bn in deposits from the U.S. and the UK combined; the digital bank has plans for more products in 2020 including cash ISAs, joint accounts and term accounts.
