PayPal reported earnings and the company is seeing huge user growth with more than 7 million customers in April alone; May 1st was the biggest day for transactions ever, higher than Black Friday and Cyber Monday; “Our products have never been more wanted and needed,” said PayPal CEO Dan Schulman; the company saw growth in all markets, including those hit hardest by the pandemic; PayPal plans to increase production their in store touch less payment system with the expectation that some of the current requirements will remain in place for quite some time; they believe we are coming to a tipping point in the near term but did not offer long term guidance.
