SoFi to Offer Zero-Fee ETFs for First Year

SoFi has filed for two index fund ETFs that will waive management fees for the first year; some industry experts are surprised that the news is coming from SoFi as opposed to a major player in asset management; the ETFs are the SoFi 500 ETF (SFY), the SoFi Next 500 ETF (SFYX), the SoFi 50 ETF (SFYF) and SoFi Gig Economy ETF (GIGE); SFY and SFYX are the ETFs which will waive fees which are listed at 19 bps according to the filing.
